The engine matches the address’s transfers against a registry of bridge contracts across seven protocols. An empty bridges list is a real answer: none of the contracts on that registry were touched. It is not “these funds never bridged”: the registry is partial by construction, and coverage and caveat say so in the same object as the finding.
truncated: true means the address exceeded the provider’s row cap, so every count is a lower bound. EVM only; a base58 address is not_supported, which is a different fact from clear.

}Authorizations
An sc_ key from https://scienter.xyz/settings/api, sent as Authorization: Bearer sc_.... The same key is accepted in the x-scienter-membership header. Prefer the header over any query form: a credential in a URL reaches access logs, proxies and browser history.
Path Parameters
An EVM (0x, 40 hex) or Solana (base58) address. EVM addresses are lower-cased on the way in; base58 keeps its case.
Query Parameters
Which EVM chain to read. Defaults to ethereum.
ethereum, arbitrum, base, bsc, polygon Response
ok with the trace, not_supported for a non-EVM address, or not_deployed with the engine's own reason when nothing was traced.
The four-state envelope. state: ok carries data as described; the three absences carry data: null and reason. See the Absent schema.
