Three paid plans. Payment is taken by Whop on its own domain, so Scienter never sees a card. Without a plan, an anonymous caller gets 20 requests a day.
The authoritative prices are the ones on scienter.xyz/pricing, which reads them from the same file this page was written from. If the two ever disagree, the pricing page is right and this page is stale.

What a plan actually buys

Every plan reaches the same forensic API. The difference is volume, seats, and how quickly a person answers you.
  • Analyst is one person doing investigations. A thousand requests a day is a large number for hand-run casework and a small one for a product built on top, which is the line between the two plans.
  • Desk is a team. Unlimited requests, five seats, and a human answer inside a day.
  • Enterprise is a contract rather than a checkout. It starts at $30,000 a year and is priced against what you need; write to sales@scienter.xyz.

How buying works

  1. Pick a plan on scienter.xyz/pricing. The button sends you to Whop, which takes the payment.
  2. Whop issues a membership id beginning mem_. It is on your receipt and under your orders on whop.com.
  3. Paste it once at scienter.xyz/activate. That device is then recognised for thirty-five days.
  4. Mint an API key at scienter.xyz/settings/api. Keys begin sc_, are shown once, are stored only as a hash, and expire after 90 days.
Activation is a separate step from paying. Whop takes the money on its own domain and tells Scienter nothing about your browser, so until you paste the membership id once, a paid account still reads as free and the API answers 402.

Why a request might still be refused

A 402 is not always “you have not paid”. The body names which of these it is, and they have different fixes: A 429 is different again: the plan is valid and the daily request allowance is spent. It resets at midnight UTC.

Refunds, invoices and cancellations

Whop holds the billing relationship, so subscriptions are managed in your Whop account. Anything about money is handled by a person rather than by the support assistant: write to sales@scienter.xyz, or ask on the support page, which passes billing questions straight to a human.
Scienter analyses public blockchain records. A finding states what those records show and how confident we are; it is evidence, not proof of anyone’s identity, intent or wrongdoing, and an attribution we cite is the cited source’s. An empty result means not analysed, never safe. Nothing here is legal, tax or investment advice, or a recommendation to transact with any address or asset — see Disclaimers for the full text.
