Workspaces

A workspace is the unit of shared ownership: members, strategies, watchlists, and an audit log all belong to one.

Roles

owner is deliberately excluded from the invite path. An invite is a message that can be forwarded, mis-addressed, or replayed; ownership transfer should not be reachable that way. Roles can be changed afterwards via the member endpoint, where the actor is authenticated and the action is logged.
Invites default to viewer when no role is supplied — the least-privilege default rather than the most convenient one.

Rejects any role outside admin, analyst, viewer with a 400 naming the valid set.

Binds the invite to the accepting user and returns the member record.

Shared resources

Strategies use the sandboxed DSL, where missing data is UNKNOWN, never false — a strategy cannot silently pass a condition it had no data to evaluate.

Offboarding

Removing someone from your identity provider does not remove their workspace membership. There is no SCIM and no automatic deprovisioning.DELETE /workspaces/{id}/members/{memberId} is a manual step and belongs in your offboarding checklist. See SSO.
